Started in 2009, the biennial Garden Tourism Conference, organized in collaboration with the American Public Garden Association, is where gardens, garden experiences and the tourism industry meet to discuss best practices related to the visitor experience, increasing visitorship, and tourism readiness of gardens and garden experiences as well as the integration of garden assets into tourism offerings – whether at the destination marketing organizations level or with tour operators in general. Our goal is to grow both sectors with a Garden Tourism perspective.
